  • Sergei Sokolenko, CueSense
    • Bio: Sergei is the CEO and co-founder of Cuesense. Prior to launching Cuesense he worked in product management at Microsoft’s Live Search, a major search engine, and Live Meeting, an online meeting place. He also founded Enmatic, a software architecture firm, and served as a software architect at Metex Systems.
    • Product: Cuesense is a trends discovery site for social feeds. It filters the noise from social feeds, offers a visual zeitgeist of hot topics, and provides recommendations (cues) when users search, shop, or learn on the web.
  • Emmanuel Marot, Valu Value
    • Bio: Emmanuel Marot is a French entrepreneur, who previously co-founded and managed three startups, all in the Internet or mobile Internet field, and all with successful exits. He sold the last one to Microsoft in 2006 and consequently moved to the Seattle area.
    • Product: VALU VALU offers the simplest and most efficient marketplace ever, by calculating prices automatically. Buyers get cheaper fares and simpler transactions while Sellers systematically increase their revenue.
  • Nimrod Hoofien, Econome
    • Bio: Nimrod Hoofien is the founder of Six Slice Studios and has 15 years experience leading technology organizations and delivering software products. Prior to founding Six Slice Studios Nimrod was with Amazon.com where he built and launched Endless.com. During his career Nimrod specialized in building high-capacity teams, delivering innovative user experience, and applying agile development methods.
    • Product: Six Slice Studios is a pre-seed game development studio engaged in building econome - an online business game where players create and run companies while cooperating and competing with their friends. econome addresses the changing demographics of the internet entertainment market by offering a multiplayer online game built within a business context that these new users are interested in and familiar with.
  • Kushal Chakrabarti, Vittana
    • Bio: Kushal bridges creativity, business and technology. Most recently, he led the recommendations team at Amazon for 3 years and had 20 patents, launches and adoptions. These days, what gets out of bed every day is the knowledge that he’s working on the biggest thing he could ever imagine.
    • Product: Vittana is an early-stage, person-to-person marketplace for student loans that is building the next step in microfinance. Vittana will be launching later in March and will enable you to lend as little as $25 to a student in a developing country to attend professional school, get a (real) job, and pay you back.
