  • Emmanuel Marot
    • Emmanuel Marot is a seasoned entrepreneur with a multi-faceted experience about startups and acquisitions. After graduating from French ‘Grande école’ ESCP, he began his professional carrer in marketing at Apple France. His first startup was a Web Agency, which he partly sold, and merged into a much bigger Advertising firm. He then acted as Partner in the Advertising firm and oversaw the acquisition of other independent companies. He left in 2000 to co-found and manage a Mobile Search company, which was acquired by Microsoft six years later, and consequently moved to the Seattle area. Emmanuel is now working on his next project, ‘VALU VALU’, which brings Dynamic Pricing to any kind of transaction.
  • Chris Treadaway
    • Chris Treadaway is Founder and CEO of Notice Technologies, a stealth-mode Internet Marketing startup targeting service businesses. Most recently, he was Group Product Manager of Web Strategy at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the company’s Web marketing and messaging. In that role, he was the business lead on the acquisition of iView Multimedia Ltd. of London in 2006. Previously, Chris was the Founder or Co-Founder of 3 other Web startups before getting his MBA from the University of Texas in 2004. He blogs regularly on Web 2.0 issues at http://treadaway.typepad.com.
  • Matt Scoble
    • Matt brings over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, having worked with companies such as Symantec, Visio, Microsoft and Starbucks. Before joining the team at Experticity, Matt had worked to build the Pacific Northwest market at Avalara, a B2B web-services company delivering financial solutions to the small- to mid-sized business (SMB) market. Prior to that, he had worked for three years as a Director of Finance for the North America Business Alliances business unit of Starbucks.
    • While at Visio, Matt was part of the team that drove the successful IPO and he stayed with the company in increasing roles of responsibility through the Microsoft acquisition. His final role at Visio involved running the M&A and business development program within Visio. Matt brings an extensive background in building partner channels, in OEM and software licensing arrangements and in mergers & acquisitions. He has an MBA from the Yale School of Organization & Management and a BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
  • Joe Heitzeberg
    • As Vice President Communication Product Development, Joe oversees the team responsible for helping WhitePages.com achieve its mission by developing simple to use tools for connecting WhitePages.com users. Joe is also responsible for identifying new technical and market directions for the company. Previously Joe was the Co-founder and CEO of Snapvine.com where he led the company through two rounds of financing and built a world-class team that created market leading consumer VoIP and social networking applications. Prior to Snapvine, Joe held senior positions at Openwave, where he helped bring the Openwave Mobile Browser to Vodaphone Japan and at Infoseek, which acquired his ecommerce startup in 1999. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BS in Computer Science.
  • Anders Brown
    • Anders Brown is currently the President and co-founder of Akona Consulting and a Senior Vice President at iSoftStone, Inc. where he serves on the leadership team of the North America and Europe Business Unit for iSoftStone, a global provider of business consulting and IT/BPO services based in Beijing, China. Mr. Brown co-founded Akona Consulting in 2004 and helped guide it to 80 employees when it was acquired by iSoftStone in February 2008. Prior to the acquisition of Akona, Mr. Brown also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Digital Music Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ORCD), helping drive growth of the business through leading a $5mm Series B fundraising and a $40mm IPO in February 2006. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Brown worked at Microsoft Corporation in a variety of product management, business strategy, and planning roles. Mr. Brown has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
